The end of book one

Monday, October 27th, 2008

Just as Michael CorleoneĀ  in the Godfather part 1, as Mad Max at the end of Mad Max 1, as Axel Foley in Beverly Hill’s Cop 1, as Luke Skywalker at the end of Star Wars: A New Hope, as Danny Ocean at the end of Ocean’s Eleven, and most likened to us, as Troy Bolton from High School Musical 1, we are, just as all of these long living and most important fictional characters did, leaving S.E. Asia and going to Australia as of 20:15 today.

I was going to write a proper entry about us leaving, but everything came out sounding over sentimental and cheesy, I feel that by comparing myself to things that don’t exist you, the dear reader, can impose your own image of our departure firmly in your mind. Hum the music from The Hulk T.V. series as you do, the sad sounding classical piece where Dr. Banner walks away from the camera, turning back every now and then to wave goodbye. Goodbye Asia, Goodbye!
