Must be pre-flight jitters
Last night, Lauren and I were talking about the food we miss from home. We were watching the Sopranaos too, which didn’t help (have you ever noticed how many scenes in that show has food in it?!) The subject eventually came round to cheese. South East Asia is severely lacking in dairy products and it is noticeable as even when you order a cheddar sandwich, you are still presented with a single slice of American-style burger cheese and a huge mass of bread and salad.
‘I wonder what Australia’s outlook on cheese is?’ I mused aloud, ‘I mean, I wonder if they have much dairy product over there?’
‘Well,’ Lauren began knowingly, ‘New Zeland has loads of sheep.’
Brilliant.
