KLCC and me
Killing time in the KLCC megamall again today. Original plan was to watch Tropic Thunder at the cinema, but aparently films come out at different times over Malaysia (it came out today in Penang, we asked) so we’re off to see Max Payne instead. Yup, we could have gone to the KL tower, yup we could have gone to the mall with the rollercoaster, and yup, we could have gone t the Imax, but we’re trying to waste time ’till Oz you see? Malaysia, KL in particular is too expensive to do much in, sweet heyzues it’s an astronomical 8RM per hour for the internet in the KLCC mall, barely cheaper than if we had got the LTR back to our hotel and used the internet there. Once more a free dinner was put on for us at Wheelers. Presumably because on Friday night the customers all stayed so late and drunk so much tha they thought it would be profitable. They thought wrong, as most of us were horrendously hung-over (one guy, Josh, told us a bit of a horror story of going out to the KL tower that morning and being sick right there on the street.) Instead most people ate the free food, which was really good; chepati with some chicken curry, lentils and chillie veg, a few of us stayed on a bit later ecause they were showing the football but none of us drank. That’ll learn them.
