Treehouses

Yes, I’m still alive. Still at the beach and currently staying in a treehouse!
Zakaria and I have travelled to a little town called Olympos where pretty much all the hotels are composed of individula treehouses. It’s surreal! It’s not as rustic as it sounds though…the units have bathrooms and are more like little cabins.
We’re staying in a place called Bayram which has a lovely orchard garden with pomegranate trees and lots of comfy pillowed platforms for sitting and relaxing.
We’re also just 500 meters from the beach…and the walk there takes you through ancient ruins which pop out of dense foliage.
The Mediteranean water is still warm and we’ve enjoyed a gorgeous pebble beach nestled between cliffs and rock formations. I’ve never been anywhere like this…
Things don’t get much better then this!
Now I’m off to dinner…a communal event, included in the hotel price. We’ve been meeting people from all over the world here…as this corner of Turkey seems to attract everyone!
Next stop Cappadocia, before heading back to Istanbul…where I pormise to upload photos and more details from Turkey.
Be well….
