Home again…
I’ve made it home in one piece….
…after 3 planes, 20 hours of flying and 29 hours in transit….good grief.
To be fair, it should have been less, but I realized the last night of my trip that my plane was leaving from a totally different city then I was in (not sure how I got that mixed up) and had to buy another ticket to get from Christchurch to Auckland. Oops!
But I made it back. I’ve had a week home, celebrating Thanksgiving, seeing the family, meeting up with some friends and trying to step back into the life I left here 8 months ago. It’s all quite surreal.
But…now for the important stuff. I promised everyone pictures and I shall deliver. I am formatting the pics right now and will have them posted within the next couple days. (There are a lot of them!)
Stay tuned for glorious New Zealand landscapes, some cultural highlights and a bit of drunken debauchary.
Oh…and if anyone knows of any employment oppurtunities….please, let me know 😉

work….?
isnt that a four letter word…of dudious merit….anyway, I once had a friend who worked in Buckinham palace and his job was cheif carpet fluffer….he had to follow the royals around and make sure the carpet they had just walked on was restored to pristine condition…
I dont have much carpet in the new house but I could do with someone to make me cakes and warm the toilet seats on those longer winter mornings…..
