Angkor Wat
This morning, we arrive at ANGKOR WAT at 5AM. This temple was constructe in the early-mid 12th century. It was a massive pyramid and is about 65 meters off the ground. It is surrounded by a moat. It has a cental tower that was a crazy cimb that I had to do. Apparently, some dumb American (my words, not the guides) fell down the steps so they attached a hand rail but it was still very steep-called the Stairway to Heaven (seriously). Our guide today was an interesting man. He is a native Cambodian but speaks with an East London accent. Never lived there and never was taught by an englishman. Very peculiar:) We saw a few other temples this morning and are headed to the Floating Village this afternoon and partying in Siem Reap this evening. Tomorrow is a free day and there is a pool….yipee! Anyway, have a great Turkey Day!!! Doubt I will be having any today but chicken and eggs are both on the menu here:)
