I’m a super star!!!

he he he, no not really!! but maybe after tomorrow I will 🙂

I was gonna start a Thai massage course tomorrow until I met a guy this morning who told me “Hey do you want to be in a movie??” Ah?? The thing is, that Rambo IV (Pearl of the Cobra) is being film in Thailand and they need westerners for some scenes. Because I’m a tourist and they need extras playing as tourist, I think I’ll do great! The bad part is that I have to be there at 05:30 and probably until late, the good part: 1500 bath (30 Euros)!! At least some money entering my bank account!! And of course I’ll see Silvester Stallone 🙂

In other news, Chiang Mai is a great small city, very laid back and quiet. I rented a bicycle and it’s great to cycle around it. There’s not really very much to do but I like it.

Yes, it’s insane

It’s being 3 days after the full moon party, and I’m finaly recovering. The party is MAD, really MAD. There are bars and clubs everywhere, people dancing on the beach covered with bright neon paint, fire playing, lady boys, buckets bottles and flip flops on the floor and very loud music. I had lots of fun and party until 6 in the morning, until a crazy Thai barman hit me with a bottle on the head and I had to go to the doctor. I’m ok, just some stiches on the head and bruises, but I’ll survive. At the doctor I decided it was better not to return to the party, and seeing that comfortable strecher I slept there until noon 😉 Read the rest of this entry »

Koh Pha Ngan

February 2nd, 2007

Hey you all!!! I arrived in Koh Pha Ngan today after a whole lot travelling thru Thailand!!! The island is very turisty, i looks like Key west, San Andres or even Ibiza, tourist tourist tourist. I met Sebastian, a canadian guy, and with him I tried to get a bungalow somewhere, but it was imposible!! We didn’t wanted to leave the part of the island where the party takes place, so we wander a bit more, until asome girl, a colombian of course, told us where to sleep. I got an “Hamaca” at some reggae bar for free!!! It’s amazing 🙂
I’m feeling a bit sick, mocos and cough, but I’m ready for some buckets (1liter bucket filled with whiskey, Red Bull and Coke) and some dancing!!
All give more details in a couple of days!
right now it’s time to rock this island

Worshiping the Rats

The rats?????? Yes sir the rats! The legend is something like this: Karni Mata asked the God of the death to revive the son of a storyteller. the God refused and Karni Mata was not very happy about it. So what he did was that he reincarnated every single storyteller there was dead into a rat, so the Death wouldn’t have any to tell him stories. Now the sometimes very very difficult to understand Hindis have a temple where millions of rats run freely around it. They drink milk ffrom big bowls and people bring them offerings of rice ad coconut. We went to see this, for that we had to travel the whole night, but this time in a very comfortable sleeper bus, and we stayed there for the day. Brilliant.
Then afterwards we went to Delhi.
Edu was the first to left the group. He headed to the north to see the golden temple in Amristar. Bien por ti mi amigo! The girls and I traveled the whole night, also in sleeper bus, but this time a bit nightmare one (cold, windy, jumping with all the bumps in the road), and we stayed in Delhi for the day. Then they left to the very south of India, Chenai, where they surely are enjoying the sun…
As for me, I stayed in Delhi for 2 days more , but I have nothing exiting to tell you, sorry.
What I do have to tell you is this:
1) I’m in Bangkok!!!!!!!! hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! and tonight I’m taking the bus to Sura Thani and from there the ferry to Ko Pang Nang, where there’s the full moon party tomorrow!! AUA!!!
2)Aoife, my girlfriend, book flights to Buenos Aires for the beginning of June!!! that means we’ll meet and we’ll finish the trip together 🙂
All very happy news for me, I’m very happy

I wish I could show you some of the pictures from the rats, but this computer is driving me insane, and it’s time to go to the bus station as well, so let’s just leave them for later!
