The Sleeping Beauty castle

Steps: 8,200 – too much sitting on the train for four hours! 

We went on a guided tour of Neuschwanstein castle, rumoured to be the inspiration behind Disney’s Sleeping Beauty castle.

Steps: 8,500 plus rafting!

We didn’t get up til 10 today, but when we did move our butts it was one of thos surreal “walk out and be surrounded by the Swiss Alps” moments – beautiful.

Monacco…vrooom!

Steps: 23,042

Blame it on Monacco – we got up and caught the 10.05 to Monacco, with much difficulty – first we had to try and buy the tickets, then we had to find the train – it was one of those six seater booth trains like in the old days, but we did get ‘Eurotrip’ flashbacks! hehe

After a two and a half hour train trip from London to Paris, switching train stations via the metro in Paris and hopping on board a five and a half hour train ride to Nice, we are finally here.

Buh-bye!

Well, we take off early tomorrow morning for our six week trip around western Europe with a week’s sailing around Croatia afterwards.

Honestly, I don’t know what the internet access is like, or if I can be bothered paying for it. So if you hear from me that’s all cool, otherwise you may just have to wait for the next updates.
