Chilling on the boat

We woke up to the sound of the motor starting and breakfast on the table. It was a bit cool up on deck and most people were still in bed – full surfacing didn’t occur till about midday. But soon enough the sun came out, the clouds cleared and the clothes came off – just the top layers anyway!

Sailing Croatia

We got woken up at 5.30am by a loud banging on the door – Lija’s like, ‘is that for breakfast or is the boat sinking?’ and I called out ‘quick get to the boats, there’s not enough for everyone!’ (a la Titanic, for those of you who don’t know) – because the door knocker didn’t actually say anything. I nicked a couple more jams at breakfast and we were off the boat and through customs by 7am. We were in Split, Croatia. We found an internet café open so we sat for three hours *cough cough* updating certain blogs and sending emails.
