At La Paz Airport

Wondering why I can put up 3 posts in one hour. Wi-fi connection at the airport is the reason. Plus a half hour wait (and counting) for a sandwich.

Take off is at 4000m. We’ll have no need to climb any higher. Presume we’ll be skimming the ground for the first hour of a five hour flight. With two stops! Between neighbouring capitals! Where else does that happen?

Still, Santiago tonight with no accommodation booked. Wonder what will happen.

Evo’s on the telly again. Viva Bolivia!

It appears that the laptop has been stolen and is no more. More info will follow as and when it appears. He is OK, though.

    Very possibly, Rob.

Right, Martin had his bag stolen in Chile. He was in a safe area. He is fine, but not happy about the loss of music, photos and constant contact with his blog.

Sue or Ang, the person to contact about tickets is Sheila. Can one of you text her an check out availabilty on Rob´s behalf? As long as he´s vouched for he can then be in direct contact as the day approaches. Let me know if there´s a problem.

Thanks for messages all and the help some are giving on the insurance claims – I am OK, just very pissed off and becoming inceasingly angry as it sinks in. Let´s hope I don´t see a lookie likey tonight.

I spoke to Sheila about United tickets at Christmas. There is now an issue about the pairs of tickets she gets. One of them will always have ‘pensioner’ stamped on it. So Rob it depends on whether you can get away with looking 65…
