Our expenses (Updated as we go)

This is (hopefully) a breakdown of our expenses (both pre-trip and while we travel) for our June 2008 – June 2009 RTW trip. I started this post on January 19, 2008 when we made our first big purchase–our round trip tickets to Peru–and the plan is to update it as we go. Ideally, then, by the end of the trip we will have an account of all the money we spent. It won’t be an itemized list, but more of a per country average on food, lodging, transportation (except big train/plane rides), etc… Sort of a mirror of my budget, but with the actuals. Hopefully this will help out others with their rtw trip planning, as the Lost Girls’ (see Other Blogs link) post-trip budget helped me.

Enjoy!
