Partying in Buenos Aires

"Wow, What day is it? Where am I?" thats what i said to myself this afternoon when i rolled out of bed..

Wasn´t i just saying how i needed to leave a crazy party, and get something real accomplished?? Oh well, a bit of relaxation (if you can call it that) is good. Unfortunately, 48 hours of drunken crazines and no sleep i dont think is good for you. lol.

Two nights ago, i was on the net chatting with Mackenzie, at about 345 (BA Time) i decided to got bed. Fredrico and Juan Carlos, the crazy columbians statying in my hostal (St. Nicholas, right near the congress building) convinced me to start the night with them.

In our quest for a great party, we visited maybe a dozen bars all on the same street (dont ask me where THAT was) and ended up getting very drunk in the last one. At 9am, the bartender kicked the party out onto the streets. We went home.

And.. pretty much the same thing happened last night. Or.. at least, i think so. I cant really remember most of the night.

Shudder.. Time to get out of BA. Its too big for me.

I am heading to southern argentina! I am going to fly to the southern most tip, hopefully tommorow. After that, I will work my way up to Pto. Montt to visit some friends.

OH! by the way, i got a GREAT price on a ticket to miami (via san jose to visit papa) Its a shitty trip, but it was only 300$

I have been keeping up with your adventures around South America.
I must congradulate you on branching out of Markham and exploring the world.
You have filled a lot boring days at work.
One comment though: I saw one pic with you and i am loving the blue shorts, but a YELLOW shirt!!! have i taught you nothing :O)

:-) Simon goes around the world and off the beaten path in his efforts to be more than an ordinary tourist, then he ends up in Buenos Aires in blue shorts and a yellow shirt looking like he has never stepped off the resort property. Very covert ;-)

Ha! you tell him, Darren! But you've got to remember that Simon sometimes has uncontrollable urges to wear things that are yellow...I don't know if you've ever seen "the pants"... he even customized them for maximum "comfortability".
