Pictures of Penguins / So more more!

Wow, A lot has happened since friday. Including some amazing sunsets, and enchanted night at the lennon bar, a trip to chile, and penguins! Now? Now i am leaving back to argentina!

:) First off, some pictures. I took lots, click on a picture for more like it.

I left Ushuya on friday morning. I was up to see the sunrise. Remember when tht is? its at about 515. Shudder, on the schedule of a traveler, thats really freaking early. But hey, a small price to pay for the amazing views. :) Look at the pictures!

The busride was hellish. I wish someone would open a competing company for the ushuya bus runs. The it was like a sauna, no windows opened, all sealed shut. It makes me cringe to think that i paid almost 40$ for that 9 hour trip.

The night before i left, I spend an enchanted night with all the people from the hostal (hi to Limon, Arie, and Tim!) watching some of the guests of the hostal play a concert at the local bar, the Lennon pub. Wow, they were soo good! the music sounded a lot like french canadian folk.. interesting... great night, but i stayed out too late for that 5 am wake up.

I am here thought!! I stayed at the Ely House Hostal in Punta Arenas. The people there are great! Thank you so much. I highly recommend it. I paid.. 3000 pesos per night.

OH YA! what about that. the chilen peso is worth, well that the thing, for the first days, i have no idea. really damn hard coming from argentina to figure out how much anything is worth. I pay 9428 pesos at the supermarket for food and come away feeling like i got a great deal, and yet, i am looking at jeans (i am cold) for 22000 and i think its a rip off. Really, i have no idea. lol.

The trip to the penguins was great. The penguin pictures start here. The Otway Sound Penguins are Magellan Penguins, and they are damn cute!!

Well, chile is too expensive for me, i am going to see the massive glacier at el calafate before traveling north to visit some friends in Puerto Montt. I am on my way home! slowly... :)

and, of course, as the argentinians say:

Thanks for watching! I really do love it when people follow me. And if you actually read to the bottom, you MUST have half enjoyed reading, so post a comment! I love to see that people are reading.
