January 16, 2004Crack Tea in Buenos Aires
This morning I arrived in Buenos Aires! Now I have been at both the pacific and the atlantic! This city is massive. I IMAGINE its like New York... but I havent been there yet. :) Perhaps one day Rieley, or Saira will invite me....
After an all night bus ride, I was qutie hungry, and i found a resturant that called itself the TEA house! Wow! Tea in Buenos Aires, GOOD TEA! Of course, as it turns out, the tea was STILL delivered in a sealed bag, beside a cup of tepid water. Sigh... On the menu they ALSO had tea called "Blunts Te" Interesting... a google search for blunts revealed this (among other things). "Blunts. These are cigars that have been emptied of tobacco and re-filled with marijuana, sometimes in combination with another drug, such as crack." -theantidrug.com you´ve got to go look at the site... and people here in BA really should stop having crack before lunch... I love that BA is a business and tech mecca. My favorite picture so far is this one. You can see IBM using overhead wires to share data with other offices. This just seems funny to me.. so amature, I COULD do that!
