Day 55: I WAS planning on spending a few days on the Isla del sol, and isla del luna... but i managed to pretty much explore the large island in one day. I met Liz and Randy and we walked....

After being dropped off at the northern port we visited some ruins on the northern side. Virgins were sacaraficed on this rock!

The walk was nice.. we managed to take the wrong path through a small town. Very pretty. We had a picknick here. :) A few pics.. a phone booth in the middle of nowhere.. and a picture of one of our trekkers bribing some bolivians to get a "natural looking" picture of them. Makes me laugh...

The islands were supposed to be some magical place.. I am not sure they had that effect on me. Perhaps I miss canada? :) Naw, they dont have any snow.

I am leaving soon, tommorow I think, for La Paz. Perhaps I will stay there for new years.
