Montañita (Map)is a wonderful little beach town. So far, I am having a blast.

This is my next door neighbor (Roberto Van Sundert), in the Hostal FUNKY MONKEY. I love this place, and my view of the ocean is fabulous.

To get here:
1. Fly to Ecuador
2. Get to Guyaquil
3. Take a bus Direction Salinas, but get off in Santa Ellana (Approx 2hrs)
3. At the corner, where the bus drops you, wait for another one going across the intersection, bound for MONTANITA. (approx 1:30 hrs) Both leave fairly often, and its an easy trip.

The QUALITY of the busses is a joke. I spent 1/2 the time standing, hunched over, as the ceiling of the bus is only about 5 feet high. Heheh. Oh well, i am here now!!
