November 23, 2003Diving Rocks
Claudia, the local expert, showed me some amazing diving rocks today. Given the presence of ONLY locals, I think they are a bit of a secret. What a perfect day! As you can see, I am having a blast jumping :) After, we went to a very pretty beach and had cokes at an expensive hotel. Now, for the info. To GET to this place, walk down to the main pier, ask for water taxi, and get them to take you simply, PLAYA. The trip should be 50c each way, and should be VERY quick. The exit is right near a restaurant that is on the water. Follow the path (and signs) to the beach, and then KEEP WALKING PAST THE BEACH. At the end there is a path, follow it past some private homes, then salt marshes, then rocky climbing. You can see the cliffs in the distance. Good luck!! sp Comments
I just hope your mom doesnt see this one...are you sure there were no rocks in that water? was it deep enough? What an amazing picture though! I really like this one!
