Yep, thats me on the equator 0-0-0 Latitude!
But, i later found out that this line is off the actual equator by about 40 meters. The french explorers were wrong, but the indians who lived here 1000 years ago had it right (imagine that!). They discovered a ruin that corrilates with the equator and is a half arc that intercects the equator in such a way that it corresponds to the earths 28 degree tilt to the T. Fuckin amazing stuff. Im really diggin the science (especially the astronomy) of indiginious peoples.
