April 11, 2005Big Decisions
Wow, I just turned down admission into one graduate program. What a weird feeling. I was stunned to learn that I was even accepted to any graduate schools, and now I'm turning them down! (OK, not like everyone was knocking down my door to gain my acceptance into their program, but still, one feels weird!) I never would have imagined that two months ago. And, I've made my decision- I'm going to live in Washington DC and attend Georgetown for the next five (or so) years! It's pretty exciting . . . and pretty scary! I only hope I can live up to their expectations- I hope I am smart enough. And I'm going to miss California! But, I'm getting way ahead of myself. I still have over two more months of traveling left, and I don't have to think about changing my whole life. Quite yet. ;) Comments
