Yay For Pictures

Mr. Elephant says hello!!

As I am not feeling particularly witty today, I will let the pictures do the talking.

Ta jammin' out at a local pub in Hat Yai, the night before our time volunteering at Greenway was over. Ta was one of the local coordinators at Greenway.

Inga and I at the pub. Inga is a German girl I was volunteering with at Greenway, and we've decided to spend the next month traveling together.

Me, Ta, and Sil saying a Greenway goodbye . . . how sad!

Sad backpacks at the entrance to the Greenway work camp.

In a different direction- coming on a longtail to Krabi.

Krabi - Railey Beach.

More Krabi.

Still more Krabi. I obviously couldn't get over the beautiful landscape here. It's literally breathtaking.

The amazing landscape of Ko Phi Phi

The famous Maya Bay where the movie "The Beach" was filmed on Ko Phi Phi Leh.

On an undamaged section of Ko Phi Phi Don, one of the most damaged islands in this area.

On Krabi yet again.

They want and need tourists here. This sign says what all the locals are thinking and saying. Spread the word; Krabi, Ko Phi Phi, Ko Lanta, and Phuket are all open- maybe not completely, but mostly open- for business, and the lack of tourism could be more detrimental for some locals than the actual wave itself was. It's incredible to be here and hear the local stories of everything. But more on that later.

Inga and I on our boat heading to Ko Phi Phi to do some snorkeling.

And I'll leave you with this.
