Partying in Cusco

If you read my last entry you will see that Cusco (the city I am calling home for Christmas) has just won the biggest international soccer competion in south america. From a pool of more than 300 teams, the small city of cusco came out on top.

The picture is of basicly everyone in the city watching the game in the public square (plaza de armas). The energy was intense. Most of the time it was complete and erie scilence, peppered with intense cheering and screaming.

When they one the game, the city went nuts.

Every street was fully ocupied by people. Everyone was running and yelling with glee! After my eventful trip back from Aguas Calientes with anders, it was time for a drink.

Or a few.. For 11sol (2.50$) we bought 3 liters of rum and coke. This is me with the street vendors.

Now what?

Hmm.. How about we get on a CRAZY BUS. Check it out

Good fun was had by all.

One note: There IS a picture of me peeing in the plaza de armas. I want to defend myself! First, there were no public washrooms. Second, while you canīt see it, there is a LINE of guys peeing behind me. So there!

All the best from party central,

Simon

and of course, as my friend erik says
