The San Silvestre School

I just had the most enchanting experience with the students and teachers of the San Silvestre school here in Jaen. Wow!! The pictures are amazing, the movies are better.

While walking down the street, prepaing to leave, we were greted on the street by Professor Aristides Millan Vilcanueua. He asked us, very politely, if we wouldnt mind taking a foto with him. No problem!

He lead us down a dark alley (uh oh..), and through an abandond warehouse (mierda), to a small classroom filled with 7 smiling children. :) Awwww... They hadnīt have much exposure to tourists, and there were delighted to see us. Much picture taking ensued. Each child got an individual foto with the white people and we talked, learned names and had a blast.

I cant tell you how touching it was.

Thank you Aristides!
Thanks San Silvestre School (in Jaen)
