Day 86: Aņo Nuevo

In the morning, I said goodbye to Robin and Marie, who were off with Lucy and Dan to hike from Yumpapata to Copacabana.

I had breakfast and talked to three girls, from Santa Cruz and La Paz. I got my money back from Javier. I was very nice to him, even though I had done nothing wrong, and after a while he defrosted a little, even though he did not apologise for his error.

Oh, I have had my first coca leaf tea. It tastes quite nice, just like a type of herbal tea. I spent most of the day in bed, cuddled up with my Harry Potter book and a packet of Pringles. Pringles are readily available here, very odd. It was raining again. In the evening I had a great tortilla, with carrots and onion and more mayonaise and chips. At one point I got surrounded by sheep, the chola leading them thought this was hilarious, but they were eying up my tortilla!

I ran into Denise, who had walked the north - south walk today, and we are leaving together tomorrow.
