Day 47: Final day in Chile

We had to wait for the 12.30 ferry, so we played some games in the lodge, after clearing away the tents.

We came back from TDP NP and were absolutely knackered, some of us hungover and all very dirty. The weather had turned bad as well. But we all took care to smile as the new load of people got off the ferry, as when we did the lot that was waiting looked miserable, as if they had had a horrible time...

The way back was spent asleep for most of us, and because of the clouds, there were no more viewpoint stops for the Torres anyway. Back at the hotel, we said our goodbyes to Keith, who was taking back dirty tents and a ripped cooking tent because of the wind. After that, there was a rush to the showers, and it felt so good to be clean all over...

Like most people, I had a laundry crisis, so I had to wear my shorter trousers and boots, which James was making fun of when we got to El Living. Had a wonderful veggie dish with pumpkin, kidney beans and couscous and went to bed about 11.
