Day 7, Con calma

I can´t believe I´ve already been here a week. Time is flying by now that I have classes in the morning and salsa in the afternoon.

Yesterday, I went to cafe los Siete Mares to meet up with the other students. There was a band playing as well. You hear music everywhere in Cuba.

I had a pizza for lunch with something vaguely resembling pineapple and went to salsaclass, to get pushed around by Bernardo. The woman kept saying to him ´con calma, con calma´, meaning he needed to take it easy. She said there were ´so many beautiful things in the world´ when people came to Cuba to learn salsa who could already dance so well, which was of course a huge compliment.

Back home I did my washing and wanted to hang it outside, but my host told me it was going to rain and sure enough, two seconds later it was pouring down. So I had a nap and Nuelen tried to make my homework and brushed my hair.
