December 30, 2004Moving out of Austin
Be a while since my last journal entry so I'll update: Quit work on Tues. Dec. 21st. - went good, the boys took me out to lunch at Hooter's to mark the occasion of my departure. Studied alot for the GRE. Christmass was nice. I got a portable water purifier, nifty rain suit, batteries, and memory cards for my digital camera. I also got some $ which I used to by me some hiking boots, but they squished the pinky on my right foot so I took them back. I still got to buy more crap for my trip, but I figure I will take care of all that in Dallas. Took the GRE and did about average. I would have liked to do better than(Math-450) (Verbal-570), but I hate standerdized tests, so at this point I am just glad to have that out of the way so I can apply to some grad schools when I get back. After the GRE I had a going away get together at the B-Side bar for $2 pints of the best micro-brewed beer in town. Today, I am paying all of my bills off, using the computer while I still have fast internet, and packing up my crap. I'll be back in Dallas before 2005 starts. Comments |
