What Goes Up Often Comes Down

My great times in Mexico City came to a halt very early Monday when I woke up with Turista or Montezuma’s Revenge.  Went out to an Argentinian restaurant Sunday night and had a nice meal (a bit heavy on the meats, aren’t they).  In Puerto and Oaxaca I witnessed purified water being used by all and I enjoyed salads and other raw veggies/fruits daily.  Apparently, you can’t have a safe salad in a decent restaurant in Mexico City.  Cypro came to the rescue, but I lost all day Monday feeling horrible and today was a slow one.  My big accomplishment today was purchasing airline tickets to Buca.  I’ll be there December 31st until January 11th.  Since I lost basically two days, I need to make it up tomorrow and Thursday morning.  I just finished some dinner so it feels like I will be in good shape tomorrow.  Nothing worse than being sick by yourself in a hotel in a foreign land…  Or at least it feels that way when you’re in the middle of it…  (P.S.  For future reference… Cypro as soon as stomach won’t eject it followed by Immodium when the other end is done ejecting, too.)
