Chocolate Tax

March 12th, 2009

Where is the love? Some politician wants to tax chocolate. Please, for gods sake, its some peoples only pleasure. Sure theres a obesity problem. But thats not the fault of chocolate only. What about the cakes, crisps, microwave meals, chips, take aways, pizzas, exotic hot drinks full of sugar, lack of exercise, something in the water, ………

Perhaps the internet should be banned or restricted or made more expensive. afterall people increasingly sit down for long periods on that. Theres so many culprits but chocolate  gets it. Its the governement looking for more revenue. At the end of the day thats it.

2 many bodies

March 11th, 2009

its true, yeh, too many bodies. Go back 50 years, i wasnt there but im sure it was a less hectic place, simplier, more space, less stressful, less conquered etc etc time. I wish i was born just after the war. todays world is that of a complex rat race, world over. I dont care if your in UK or Rio. When you hear every second about renewable energy and the importance of recycling you know we got trouble. You know theres a strain.

I notice that in the UK the nanny state has completely got the over populated island by the balls and wont let go. letting go isnt convienient. letting go would mean we run away, now that we have our balls back. CCTV. Tracking devices. Tax. Government agencies. Shit i kind o understand the yanks when they want less government interference. Unless you are well and truely inbedded in the system you notic these things., Im comparing Latin Amercia of course which opened my eyes to having more freedom. Coming back has really been a eye opener. Rules galore, legislation is ordr of the day,. This is a ultra formal country trying to be free.

In Mexico there are no speed cameras. Man, seeing them every 100 metres makes you feel guilty. Of course Im not in the system yet. Im on the outside looking in. I was away too long. I adapted to a more care free way and cant readapt to a water tight system.

Of course I I could go back and theres a reason im back to the UK. But I had forgotton how difficult things are here. To get a job you have to be a mastermind individual. You are expected to perform miracles in front the the interviewers eyes. To have the answers of life on the tip of your tongue. In Mexico you stroll in, answer a few questions and bam, you’re working.

I blame it all on too many people. Too much pressure too many rules,. too much information- just jump on a train in london. no one is relaxing. The ants are reading papers  or books or doing puzzles or messing about on their laptops or phones or have something stuck in their ears just to get that extra mental buzz. High stressed jobs arent enough.  Theres no relaxation as normal humans know it., We are moving away from humanity. Moving to machinery, The human machine is the order of the day. Bionic man. We will be getting new body parts one day. we will hve memory chips put on our skulls to hold more info. This is the road to the matrix. jesus.

Mexico is still a place you can be human. You can stilll meet potential spouses in the supermarket- you dont need speed dating-,  you can hang out after work and relax with neighbours. Here you better watch that no 14 year old wants to stab you on the way to the bus stop. there woman are still feminine, here they are more macho than the men. i could go on and on.

too many bodies dont make for a better life. I dont believe it can go on much longer. The laws of nature will take over once we reach breaking point. Then things will get ugly. No food, no space, no jobs, no trees, no air, no resources. Man has leanrnt how to exploit the earth not work with it. But earth will not be beaten by man. man will bring himself down.

sitting is my life

March 10th, 2009

yeh, while im in  this limbo thats what ive become expert at. with my laptop on the floor i get myself uncomfortable for hour on end looking for jobs. I have started blogging again, it seems cos i have nothing to do. when i lived in mexico there was no time for blogging, but thats where the most interesting things happen. i will have to write about them someday. for now the highlight of my day is watching the jermey kyle show with a cup of tea and a chocolate,. bad isnt it. i enjoy watching the news, knowing there are many more lost sould out there like me right now in this ecomonic meltdown. when will the jobs turn up. where have they gone.  maybe i should ask one of the nerds you find on sky news or bbcnews who seem toappear daily on these shows., not the broadcasters, the guests. the morons who come in from the corners of gloom with their suits and gray complextion but spit out facts and figures like no tommorow, gezz. they believe their word to be stronger than that of god  i think ive been away too long. mexico changed me. like michael moore said once. stupid white men. haha, i cant sit and listen to morons too long these days. by that i mean listen to know it all do gooders. the type that have thrown up all the speed cameras on our streets, that have inposed fines if you get out of the wrong side of bed. the 21st century nazies.

if anyone reads this rememembr im unemployed right now, and just come back from a latin country to the uk. So i might not be in the cheerist of moods., but happier times and blogs will follow. not doubt about it,  fred the shred

Day 1

February 23rd, 2009

ok, i dont know why im blogging again, i tried it a few years back and wrote about what i was doing at tht time. I can see that I have changed quite a lot since then in some ways but generlly Im still the same, a bit lost, I think. I found what i had written interesting as it brought back memories so im creating this for the future. The present is over hiped. The past never disappoints.

Im trying to create this new blog i got a bit lost in ciber world. I thought i could log on cos i had a blog before, but my user name and various passwords werent working. So i made the biggest of efforts and logged into yahoo to find the login info for bootsnall.   I just could not get into my email, there were allsorts of questionaires and distractions from me being able to find my email. Im giving up on yahoo, its too much hassle, esp when youre listengin to pink floyd and reaping the rewards  of inhaling marijuana smoke.

just a brief about me. im a TEFL teacher whos in london, looking for work, and slowly going insane, with all the dilemas in his life…..

dont bother reading anymore,

anyway heres a pic of a dog i would like to have one day
