nairobi
I’m just gonna put two or three up, so I don’t miss anything important. That would be bad.
So yeah, flight to nairobi. almost missed my flight. Airline insisted I didn’t re-confirm, yelled at me a bit (in a very polite sort of way) and let me on the plane. Well, there was more, but that just about covers it. Might I point out now that I totally understand why people hate cairo airport? it’s not that it’s a pit, it’s not in too bad condition, but it’s a bit scary. Ok, so it’s a lot scary. They don’t announce what security checkpoint to go through, they don’t say when to go, they don’t say when you can go, the check in is inside the first security, everything is inside that area, and you can’t get in. They close the doors early, and on and on and on. It sucks. A lot. Yeah. So, nairobi, not that tough. the airport wasn’t that bad in addis. Not bad at all, easy to find way around, but a bit weird, it being africa, and all.
Yeah, nairobi. I flipped out in nairobi, got totally scared. I think it’s because I was tired and hungry. I don’t think I’m staying at the same place going back, it wasn’t expensive (not too much, anyway) and it wasn’t too bad, kinda cool, and all, but the internet was closed, and no one knew what was going on. Then I over slept my shuttle, and they had to come get me in my room. Yeah. Not my fault, they said 8, and it wasn’t even 7.30. Ah, well, whatever.
So, bus ride was long, lots of people trying to sell me stuff I didn’t want, lots of overgrazed land, and stuff like that. Cool, but lots of hungry people.
And now I’m in moshi, staying at a religious hotel for… about 9$ a night, private bath, and two beds to choose from. Heck, there’s even running water. I think I like tanzania. I need to find somewhere cheaper, though, because I need to eat, too, and I have to pay for two more nights here at least. ouch, yes?
but a coke cost me TZshillings 250, or less than 25 cents, so I’m happy. Now I just need to find something that I can eat, and I can go back to my hotel, take a shower, and wash my now *very* stinky shirt.
Caught up, yes?
