Stayed at a hostel in an old house with lots of hippies and free bagels! Explored downtown Portland. Cool buildings, lots of bridges, very eco-friendly attitudes, lots of people who cycle. Went to the world’s largest used book store (with over a million used books – thought you would like that Dad).
