Guess Who’s Back

Yay!

This morning I woke up in the hostel and I was excited because I knew Jim was supposed to get here today.

So I went down and checked my email to see what he said about his arrival time, and there was no email! I was very shocked and then I started to think, his flight was TODAY, not yesterday.

I ate my free breakfast of cereal and toast in the cafeteria area and thought more about it and was so bummed out about the idea of being here another day alone, especially when I was all excited about him getting here.

Then, I look up, and I see my little stinker walking in the door of the hostel, AND, wearing a shirt with a monkey on it! It was the greatest!!! And it was so great to see him.

He was pretty tuckered out so he slept a lot today and we didn’t do that much.

Sydney as a city has impressed me a lot. The only drawbacks, I’d say, is that there are derelicts and prostitutes and stuff like that. But I guess every big city has that. But there are SO many pretty things here!

Anyway, gotta go. Later gators.

    *”little stinker”… – what an endearing term… :-)*

“derelicts”… *hmmm, are we playing “stomp the Swede” again? 🙂 *good thing I have dictionary.com*

    A’ight, Stinky – take care!

Hi guys. Glad to know that you are all ok and having fun. We are all ok. We miss you and keep writing. We’ll see you soon. Be careful with the bats.

Derelicts and prostitutes? Eww you’re not in a good part of the city, girl. 95% of the city doesn’t have that stuff.

I’m so happy you’re enjoying my country though 🙂

Hi Katia! I kept thinking I should email you. I don’t remember where in Oz you are from? Anyway don’t get the wrong idea, I think Sydney is gorgeous and I can’t find hardly anything wrong with it!! It seems like it would be a great place to live. There is so much to do!

Hi Jim’s mom, I am glad to hear from you. Hope all is well back home!

Carl– I think you mean “stUmp” the Swede, not stomp! 😉
