Tags: ScamsHere is a small list of some of the scams I’ve encountered or heard of on this trip. For some reason I can’t resist when a scum bag lie’s to me and offers something that’s to good to be true. I always end up going with them and have to wiggle around to get of the hook, even though I’m well aware ahead of time that it’s B.S. Maybe I just have to much time on my hands, but I’m to curious to just walk away, I want to know their angles…

Tags: ScamsIt’s been a while, but it’s been good! 2004 was the best year ever and my New Years resolution is to have a better year this year than last! I must say 2005 is gonna be tuff to beat!
After a year on the road, I’ve lost some things and found some. I didn’t come out here (my trip) looking for love or any answers to life, but it turns out that I’ve found a bit of both. The things I’ve lost were great, but I wouldn’t trade one of the things I’ve found for all of the lost!
Here they are…

Tags: My IndiaHi again,
Just want to wish everyone (that celebrates it) a Happy Thanksgiving! I met an American today by chance and he told me what day it was, I’m not out of touch or anything…
I’m at the Pushkar camel festival right now. Today is the last day, but there is another festival that begins today as well. Something about Brahman (the creator) coming to the lake in the center of town and calling all 900,000 Hindu gods, deity’s and manifestations for a fat Hindu party?

Nice, huh? I had a bad stomach in Delhi (Delhi belly) and had a test done by a doctor there, he told me I have worms! SWEET! I love worms! Anyway, I just have to take a pill twice a day for two days and I’ll be de-wormed. I figured I’d share this appetizing news with you all, because I now you’re all interested in that type of thing.

Tags: My IndiaI guess I have to much time on my hands. Here are some burnt observations from me. I’ve got to stick with the title of my blog, so I’ll try to come up with some meaningless, absolutely useless, burnt info on a few of the countries I’ve visited so far. This is for Nepal, I was there from July – Oct, 2004…

Just want to let everyone know that I’m outta KTM. I’ve been there for a long, long time now and it’s time to see “the other” city in Nepal, Pokhara.
I arrived yesterday and it’s sooo quiet here. KTM is pretty crazy, so compared to there, Pokhara is very relaxing. I was chillin lake side (Pokhara is set right on a lake with some big Himalaya’s RIGHT above) doing what I do best (eating) and my two friends and I were saying how much it feels like Thailand. It’s very touristy (is that a word?), but very mellow and it has everything a westerner could want. That combined with the amazing views that you get no matter where you are make this a pretty special place. The weather is great now, the clearest it’s been all year (so the locals say), so I think I’ll spend my last month in Nepal here (besides my trek). The internet is more expensive here, so I probably won’t check my mail until I get back from my Annapurna trek in a couple of weeks. I’m gonna wear shoes this time, so don’t worry about the ugliest feet on earth. OK, wish me luck and I’ll let you all know how it goes.

Tags: NepalThis was my trek to Everest while I was still in Nepal. I was there for four months and loved it. I did a 20 day trek through September – October of 2004. I was on a tight budget, but it was a lot of fun that way. For some reason (I’m not sure why) I wanted to do the whole trek in Teva’s (sandles), I think it’s because I’m (burnt) not a very bright person, but anyway…
Four months later and I’m just putting this up, I hope someone reads it and enjoys it…
