The First One
It’s eleven weeks until I pack my bags and take off to land on the other side of the world. The tickets are paid for, the passports are on their way, and the doctor has kindly booked in the relevant jabs before I go.
Now for those of you who don’t know, or are too lazy to remember, I’m travelling with my cousin Lija. We did a ‘trial run’ in New Zealand, the two of us for ten days of skydiving, quad-biking, and bungy jumping (well that was just me), so now we’re on to the big guns, Europe.
The plan is that there isn’t much of a plan. I’ve always lived to a concrete itinerary throughout school and uni, and now it’s time to live a little. A bit of work here, a bit of play there.
