Since I got back from Cornwall, a wonderful time of volunteering that has left the bank looking a little empty, work got me back the grindstone as soon as my phone got reception on the way home on the train.
When I left you on Thursday I was in town uploading my blog, and I spent most of the day in town because the weather was really nice. So nice, in fact, that I ended up doing a bit of girly shopping and found a great pair of shorts for summer.

Just an hour’s flight from London, is Dublin, Ireland home of leprechauns and shamrock and this weekend the celebrations for St Patrick’s Day. Kristy, Lija and I headed over there for a fun-filled weekend and a well-deserved break.
Still having troubles with my blasted email, but Wednesday night was a real corker when we headed over to Stamford Bridge to watch the Blues crush Olympiakos 3-0.
This week has just been a big blur of travelling, I’ve been going from shifts in Notting Hill in the west, to Archway and Cockfosters in the North, to South Kensington and Chelsea in the south west and of course I live in the east so you can imagine what that’s like! No? Tiring is one word.
Lija and I did exactly that on the weekend. I was working here and there and we met up in the city between shifts to go and check out the British Museum.
Hibernation is at an end and the sloth has awakened from it’s chocolate-covered, shortbread biscuit house. With the thought of summer, cruising around the Greek Islands and touring the finesses of Italy amidst scorching weather, not to mention my crankypants lethargy, and constant criticism of the weather, I decided it was time to crawl out of the grave and resurrect life back upon oneself.
