London one-way!

It’s only mid-week and I feel like I’ve already done so much at work. I’ve been uploading stories onto the system, and writing several of my own for the website. 

Jasmine has been away filming, and I had Sam Dunn on the phone about this week’s Independent story. Jasmine basically said she didn’t have time and so I researched and wrote a story about house-sitting as a way for retired people to earn a bit of money and have a great experience.  In the afternoon I went to a product launch, which I’ve never done before. Basically I went to promote moneymagpie and see how these companies and their products could help our site, while they were there promoting their products to us.  I brought home two bags of goodies – face wash, cleansers, toners, aromatherapy oils, silky mit kits, eye shadow, vinegars, chocolates, and loads of information about all these places and products.  My favourite was a company called Inika. They specialise in fully natural organic makeup. The powder foundation she used on me was gorgeous and I didn’t even feel like I was wearing anything – makeup wise, not clothes. Pretty amazing for someone who generally hates makeup.  The company actually began in Australia several months ago but I’ve never heard of them.   

 

Back at the office I stayed until half seven finishing my story before emailing it off to Jasmine. A bit over the word limit but that’s me.

All done and dusted.
