My 22nd Birthday
…alone. Away from home. Friends. Family.
And I had a great day!
I was spoiled rotten at work, with calls from mum and Alex from home, and dad, Uncle Steve and Aunty Inga from Alice. I also got a msg passed on from Maija, and a few emails and messages on my facebook wall from friends.
David bought croissants for in the morning, and Jasmine bought chocolate cake for the afternoon! Alice wasn’t here but she left me a card and The Fratellis’ album – so awesome – I was listening to it this morning!
I got a really nice wooden bracelet in different tones from Jasmine, and both she and David gave me a plunger for our house! It’s so cool, I think it was a flippant spare of the minute comment I made last week about missing plunger coffee, and they remembered!
After work Lija and I met Sarah in Leicester Square and we went for dinner at Chikitos, a Mexican restaurant. The table wait was 45 minutes and it was still happy hour so we got cocktails at the bar, lots of ’em! haha
After potato skins, fajitas and fried ice cream we all rolled out of there and back home, where I continued reading Harry Potter till about 2am.

HI MARA, sorry its late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Wow, your gettin old dear. Its sounds like you are having a great time as always but i’m missing you and i think you should come home 🙁 Nah not really… but we certainly havent forgotten you and are waitng for your return HOPEFULLY 2008, or u may just wanna stay there forever.
