First time nerves….

Friday, May 5th, 2006

This is my first attempt at posting a la 21st Century. It’s not really my first official post or preview thingy either.

Massive, massive news has hit the England / Brazil Camp this morning. (I may call it Braland, it’s got a ring). My 7 year old hot footed into my room this morning, breathless and eyes agog. A massive smile on his face, he pronounced that St/King Derek has been called into the Ghana pre-World Cup squad to play Nice. That Shrine is clearly still working. For crying out loud he could be in the same team as Essien!!

Germany Cruise to Victory Already

Thursday, May 4th, 2006
german hairThe Cream Of English Football (from about 20 years ago) and celebrity (if you count soapstars) have been crushed by the strong, efficient german side including Lothar (nice guy) Matthaus, and actor Peter (i dye my hair green cos i’m just MAD) lowemeyer. surely a huge indication of this summers German superiority on the fussball pitch. The result at the Madejski Stadium was 4-2 to the fatherland, and it was only kept down to four because of slightly strange refereeing from the english man in black, and the superb form of england nearly man Chris Woods. Oh, and Richard Ashcroft is just RUBBISH at playing football. Sister Angela you can bring your tico’s all the way to germany but they won’t be here long, paolo and co will be ground into the dirt by Herr Ballack and his band of mighty mullets. German superiority is a inevitable, all the other countries know it. You are all scared, and you should be.
Lots of Love Herr Lipp

The Ticos too Tricky for the Germans?

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006

The “mature” Costa Rican side, possibly led by their veteran 29 year old striker are set to cause a massive upset on the opening day of the World Cup.  Watch out Germany…
