Awesome Aquarium
Today we go to the Two Oceans Aquarium. After we got in we went upstairs to the top floor to watch penguins being fed. We got one of the spots in the front to watch the penguins from. Some of the smaller penguins couldn’t eat the fish because they were too big for them to swallow. Also there was a fish about twice the size of the largest penguin there.
After the feeding was done we headed to the shark tank – the largest tank in the aquarium. The tank was home to ragged-toothed sharks, a sea turtle, stingrays and all sorts of large fish. The stingrays were the closest to the top of the tank, the turtle normally in the top half, sharks normally at the lower half and the large fish were all around. There was a person telling about the turtle and sharks, so we learned some cool stuff. Did you know that sharks never sleep? Did you know that sharks can go without food for as long as ten days? Did you know that sea turtles can live for longer than eighty years? Unbelievable yes, but all true. The next tank we went to had nothing but fish. There was lots of fish, and there were lots of different types and sizes of fish, but only fish.
After the fish tank we descended to watch seals. The seals came up to the glass and were smiling. The seals also leapt into the air and did a sort of clapping.
During the rest of our time there we saw a squid, a puffer fish, two more sharks, jellyfish, eels, giant crabs and lobsters. Our visit to the Two Oceans aquarium was fairly enjoyable, though I did think it would last longer.

Cool acquarium! And I thought Baltimore’s was great!
Why do you suppose the occupants of the BIG tank segregated themselves like that?
