May 22, 20055/21 - Rail to Algeciras
I have always wanted to write in a journal while on a train. This makes me feel like a real adventurer. I boarded at 11:20 and we're off to the south of Spain. I dont know if I can really say "we". Although I'm not the only passenger on board I get the feeling I am alone. I have gotten strange attitudes from fellow passengers, the ticket man and the food stand guy. Even while I was standing in line to get a bite to eat a father makes a comment to his daughter about me. Not sure what was said but I'm sure it had to do wiht me already changing into my sleeping clothes. The cabin is very small with a shitty shower head. The bed is a sight for sore eyes so when I'm done here I'm going to get some sleep. I realized I have just left tourist country and am now embarking on a new area, outside of Western Europ. If I thought yesterday was rough tomorrow could have the same in store for me. With even greatest obstacles. Tomorrow I head for North Africa. Comments
