March 12, 2005It has been a year
March 12th marks one year since I took off for my last trip. It was entirely too short. It was only 1 week long but it was an amazing week that really help me set my eyes on travel in the future. I have about 2 months until my next one and this time it will be for 2 weeks. I'm hoping to do 3 weeks for my next trip and then 2-3 months for the next one after that, progressively getting longer and longer until I find a way to be self-sufficient on the road. Comments
My girlfriend and i am going to tangier via the ferry and the train about the same exact time you are. Im nervous about the trip, but it is an exciting feeling. I noticed you are taking a plane out of tampa. We are from tampa too! We are starting in madrid around the 13th of may, then to portugal and then to algeciras to catch the ferry roughly around the same time you are. Im not sure what the best course of action is from there though. Should we just get to the tain station from the port and wait for the train? Also, where do we pick up currency? If there is any other information that you think we should know about, please reply. My email address has been included for your reply. Maybe we will run into each other.
