I boarded the flight on British Airways from Tampa to London (Gatwick) and took my seat. Luckily I got one of the last remaining aisle seats. I almost wanted to ask for a window seat but for a few moments of looking out the window its just not worth it. There will be 8 hours of needing to get up and walk around because I hate sitting in one place for a long period of time. I wasn't so lucky on my return trip but i'll get to that later on. I was seated next to a French guy and he engaged in some conversation with the woman next to him who also happened to be French but they did not previously know eachother. He must fly often because he had the middle seat and did not ONCE ask to get up. After a few moments talking to the girl next to him he put on his headset and closed his eyes and only woke up when the inflight meal was being served.

I wish I was so lucky. I was way too pumped to sleep at this point and at the first mention of "beverages" I was on it. I think I ordered a beer first and then a mixed drink. Finally about an hour or 2 into the flight when the meal came around I had a small mini bottle of wine. I remember sitting there on the plane with my meal in front of me and my bottle of wine thinking... this is the (explitive) life. Then entertainment began and I was pleasantly suprised at the selection. I had a hard time sleeping probably because I felt I had to watch every show and movie that was playing. It was an over night flight so it left at approximately 7pm EST and was to arrive in London at around 8:30am. Unfortunately I was unable to get any sleep the entire time which was ok for the time being but ended up hurting me later that day.

The flight arrives in London and its morning already...
