Pushing the Bus in Patagonia
Locals warned us that the wind would be stong in Patagonia, but this was ridiculous.
Our winding 16-hour ride along gravel roads north from Usuhaia, Argentina through Tierra del Fuego turned into a 24-hour fiasco as the bus refused to forge ahead in the headwinds.
We ended up pushing it - backwards - downhill to try to jump start the old drying horse after it bled oil like a contested Iraq.
