Fodor's Berkeley Guide to Central America
It all started for me with this book. I dropped out of my second year of university to take a minimum-wage editorial position with Random House. That was 1995. The work-weeks were 60 hours long. The computers were Mac Classics with 9-inch b&w monitors. The company was good. The writers I hired were gung-ho and crazy. The rest is history.
