March 25, 2005Day 165: Quad pro quo
Keiron went off quad biking in the morning. I didn't fancy it, as my mind seems to wander every time someone tries to explain something technical to me, such as bike gears or cricket. So while I spent time on the internet, Keiron was having a good time racing up and down steep hills, negotiating rivers, flooring it across farmland and getting muddy. There weren't many views, he told me later, as it was a bit cloudy. But worst of all: he had muffins! In the afternoon, we called the airline to change our flights. We are both becoming a bit thoughtful every time we look at our bank account and it suddenly appeared to us that ten days in Hong Kong might be a bit long, not to mention expensive. So we cut our trip short by about four days. We then played a game of minigolf. Keiron did well with +3 (or three over par, as the pro's call it), my score was appalling with +11. For dinner we had chicken tikka masala with dodgy naan bread in the busy kitchen. The park seems to be completely booked out! Comments
