Another step has been taken to make sure I am all set to go in a few weeks (22 days to be exact): my travellers' cheques and cash have arrived! When I tried to order a few travellers' cheques for French Polynesia, the woman at the counter blinked at me: We're still receiving the final bills for our flat. Here's my past experience with customer service (I use the term very broadly) in the UK: So, imagine my surprise when we received all our final bills within a few days, correct and all, without any problems. I'm very suspicious and think something will go horribly wrong in the next few days. After all, England just wouldn't be the same if it suddenly starts running like clockwork... Comments
