The Trip so far, According to Bjorn

Well, the trips  been pretty fun so far, but I would rather be at home with my friends and toys. Oh well. Right now we’re sitting in a shuttle bus on our way to Managua, were we’ll spend the night and then wake up at 5:00 to take a bus to Honduras. I’m not that exited. It’s a really long 12 hour bus. Anyway, we’ve been having a good time in San Juan del Sur, were we would go t the beach every day and body surf on the giant waves. We also got sunburns. The beach was fun anyway. Once we went down to a different beach which was half an hour’s drive down from San Juan del sur. The water was a lot clearer there and it was really pretty. Dad and Emma went body surfing, but every time I got out of the water before I had felt salty and sandy and needed to take a shower, so I wasn’t that happy about feeling that way for the half hour drive back to the town, So I just read my Nook (that’s the Barnes and Noble E-reader) while they played in the ocean. Mom got really worried about them because the waves were so big. I didn’t think they were that bad.

After that we hung out for about an hour and went back to the hotel.

Mom also wants me to give my perspective on the Language school, so here it is:

The place was pretty fun, with the howler monkeys and lizards running around outside, but the actual schooling I didn’t enjoy as much. Learning a language is not my thing. I didn’t enjoy the dinners as much, but fortunately there was rice at every meal, so I kept myself alive. The room was really cool too, because we had about three Geckos living in it. They would chatter a lot, and it was pretty fun watching them catch flies. One actually caught a moth. It is amazing how much something so small can eat. There were a bunch of spiders crawling around too. At one point the cook found a scorpion outside our room. It was  really cool, and we took lots of pictures.

Then the cook swept it up into the dustpan, and we saw no more of it.

I can’t wait to go to Roatan and scuba dive!
