My name is Kirsty Mcleod and I am a Scottish girl been travelling from about the age of 11 months! I have just moved over to England after living in France and going to School in Switzerland for two years. My friend and I originally started thinking about taking a gap year when the prospect of university (and even MORE education) scared the living daylights out of us... so we started discussing possible escape routes! Finally (some 12 months later) we have bought our round the world tickets, and we are so unbelievably excited (and perhaps the slightest bit nervous!)

Although our trip destinations, and dates, have changed constantly, we now have our definitive route (which conveniently starts 31st December...great way to start the new year..eh?) and I can't wait to share my travels with you!!
