£%$^! visa!

Uh-oh....

I just counted the days from when I sent off my visa (around 15, which is the recommended amount of days) and thought that I'd have a quick look on the Visa website just to check things over... and then I see this
"All Visa applications by POST require an additional £1 postal order as well as the £30 Visa fee..."
Sh*t.
I didn't include the extra £1.. and they said they don't process the Visas without the Correct fee. I don't know what I'm going to do :-( They still have my passport and everything so now I'm scared.
I'm going down to London this Sunday for a concert and that would be a perfect opportunity for me to get my Visa from the London Office in person.. but without my passport I won't be able to! :-( In fact, I won't be doing anything without my passport.

So I called up the Visa Enquiry line and got through to someone, but there was an obvious language barrier (I couldn't understand him, he couldnt understand me) so that didn't actually help.

I really want my passport back, though.
I'm quite p****d off about this whole thing... it's so frustrating.
With my Visa for Australia, I applied online and it took about 5minutes...

I just want the High Commission India to give me back my passport, so if you're listening ....

*very upset/angry/frustrated*
:-(

Do you have any Indian friend in your area. Ask that person to sit along with you while you call the embassy. Don't loose heart it all will be fine. Or if you call on your own speak slowly and make sure that person on other end is understanding everything. Be specific and just speak slow. It should help. Which part of UK are you based in.
