Where are we going?
As it is a common question, here is a clear answer. As you can see on the next map, our trip will be in two parts
The first part in Eastern Europe is specially to visit our friends in Prague and celebrate the wedding of two of them. Then we will head to the south through Slovakia and Hungary to reach Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia. Then we will go back to Hungary to fly back to Paris after about one and half months hanging around in these facinating countries.
After another wedding (in France this time), we will take a plane to Dehli, India from where will directly go to Nepal to enjoy the end of the best trek season. When we have had enough of fresh air and mountains, we will cross India from North to South and fly to Sri Lanka (actually this is only an option). Then it will be time to go to the Malaysian jungle and visit the Malaysian part of Borneo. Bored by the trees, we will reach the beach of Thailand. By crossing the land border, we will visit the old French Indochine (Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam). Finally, after about 8 months in Asia, it will be (maybe) time to go to the final airport but, for sure, before that, we will take our time to improve our Cantonese through the visit of southeastern part of China. Hong Kong will be our final destination. When, it’s hard to say ? Of course we have a date on our ticket, but it’s easy to change. I can launch a game on this blog : the one who finds the date (or is the closest) when we will come back will have his/her drink free next time we go to the pub together. Good luck
