So there is a place to skate at Puerto Escondido.....no bicycles says the sign and itīs $5 pesos to skate from 9am till 10pm, the heat dictates you have about 20 minutes before a complete meltdown, itīs in a tent with floodlights as it gets dark at 6pm, thinking it got cooler after sundown i headed down there....skatepark is stretching the imagination a little and itīs pretty sketchy with ply running against the grain and big gaps and no coping and variable transitions and a few screws loose, you could say a few sheets short of a mini 
Sweaty and on the verge of......2 foot high and frontside shark attack
ramp....small 2foot high 5 footwide quater pipe which was the best part facing a flat bank with a block on top next to a kind of midi ramp, dropping in or standing on the platform you had to stoop beneath the tent...all this was maybe 6 foot high and very spongey...description over it was cool and fun and super hot and hard work to keep any speed at all but they are all the ingredients of the best skateparks and spots iīve ever been too, who needs a slick concrete park...spoilt is what we are so embrace the sketchy out of the way stuff and you will find your chin, zen or whatever.......onward to the next spot, still looking for something in the mountains, bit damp right now though.Happy new year to you lucky guys having some adventure!!!
